From 12th till 18th of November 2018, I joined the Folktaleweek, a week-long event organized by a dozen awesome illustrators back at Instagram. As said in the words of one of the organizers: "The challenge was created to encourage artists from all around the world to share and explore character creation and visual storytelling". Prompts were : 1) forest; 2) magic; 3) witch; 4) ghost; 5) mirror; 6) insect; 7)animal. Here's my take on it.
Personally, I enjoyed the challenge quite a bit - I was really inspired by the impact the folktales had on me through my childhood and focused on trying to convey that feeling through my artworks.
